There are many cases in which an addicted person refuses to go to rehabilitation center of treatment center and also refuses to admit that the person is actually suffering from any problem. In such cases these patients require an intervention just like alcohol intervention and addiction intervention.

In this case the following steps should be followed which are:-

• Contacting the Intervention Consultant. The consultant will discuss the situation of the person and then decide what next step has to be taken to solve the problem.
• Next step is to observe the outlines make by the consultant and then take the next step on how to bring the patient to the treatment center and how the patient is to be treated.
• In this step the Intervention team will guide the relative of the patient with the different steps that they have to take to solve the problem.
• This team may also take a pre intervention talk with the patient at any place say at home so that they can understand the extent to which the person is affected with the addiction and how intense it is. This is very important factor that decides the future course of action.
• The Intervention meeting is very intense and is with generally with the people with whom the patient generally meets.
• If the patient accepts the problem of addiction then the patient is immediately admitted to the treatment center and the treatment process is started otherwise they try other methods.
